How you can help PAWS and the pets in our care
In order for PAWS to continue the rescue of helpless and homeless animals, we depend on the service of volunteers and on the funds donated by our supporters.
We receive no local, state or federal funding.
Below you will find more information about how you can help by
- making a tax-deductible monetary donation
- becoming a PAWS member
- participating in some of our programs, or
- donating your time as a volunteer.
Monetary Donation
Your donations are what keep us going! Your
generosity allows us to spay/neuter all of the animals in our care, to
pay for needed vaccinations and other medical services like dental work
and blood tests.
All monetary donations are used to pay for the medical care, feeding and housing of these homeless animals.

Monthly Giving The animals in our care need assistance for basic needs like food and shelter 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You can set up a recurring charge payment on Paypal.

All members receive complimentary the PAWS e-newsletter as well as occasional email announcements of events and fundraisers.
Memorial Donation - It’s a wonderful tribute for someone (human or animal) who has passed on to give the gift of life to someone else. We would be happy to send an acknowledgment card to the requested person.
Employer Matching Many companies will match their employees’ charitable contributions. This means with the help of your company any donation you make to PAWS can effectively be doubled, maybe even tripled. Please contact your human resources or benefits department to find out if your company has a matching program.
Planned Gift/Bequest Remember PAWS in your will with a bequest or plan gifting in your estate.

Now even one bag of groceries can help PAWS. PAWS is a member of the Shaws Supermarkets Community Awards Program. It's simple, it's fast and everyone buys groceries. Now you can buy them with a cause in mind. You do need a Shaws Reward card in order to participate. Shoppers can support PAWS each time they shop on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Shaws will donate a percentage of each shopper's eligible Reward card purchases to PAWS.
